An academic partnership between Dassault Systèmes' DELMIA brand and Oakland Schools will provide specialized software and training throughout Oakland County's 28 school districts, preparing students towards careers in engineering. Students will learn how to use DELMIA digital manufacturing tools, which simulate real-world processes in a virtual 3D world, before products are actually built. The partnership covers Oakland County's 43 high schools and the four Oakland Schools Technical Campuses. Instructors at each of the facilities have been provided training and mentoring in the software.
